Thanks to mom - Haven't missed much of the tradition being in a metro on hot summers!

Summer also means no school kids traffic, school autos/vans in the mornings on the way to office .... Driving is easier !!! It is beautiful to observe ..... The lack of school kids is strikingly obvious in the week leading to Tamil New Year's day in April .... The reverse happens in the first week of June ... Tiny tots in freshly stitched bright uniforms along the roads .... I cannot escape these transitions since I take the KK Nagar and Saidapet route which is predominantly residential ....
